The National Recognized Standard Evaluator Program

The purpose of the Recognized Standard Evaluators Program is to provide access to subject matter experts who can help develop On-Water instruction that integrates the national On-Water skills-based standards. These Standard Evaluators are ready to use their unique understanding of and experience with the National On-Water Standards (NOWS) to review programs, identify potential gaps, and make recommendations for developing the full profile of skills contained in the National On-Water Standards.  Standard Evaluators are also able to advise on the level of recreational boating knowledge obtained as a result of your instructional programs based on the demonstration of skills on the water.
